Here at Southern Tribute Farms, our puppies are family from the very beginning. They are whelped and raised in our home, right in the heart of daily life, surrounded by the sights, sounds, and routines of a busy household. From the start, they grow up alongside our other dogs and livestock, learning how to interact naturally, respectfully, and with confidence in a variety of settings.

We take our breeding program seriously, which is why every one of our parent dogs is health tested before entering our program. Our goal is to produce strong, healthy Australian Shepherds who reflect the breed’s true versatility—whether as a working partner, a sport prospect, or a loyal family companion.

From the earliest days, our puppies benefit from structured developmental protocols, including Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI). These practices help shape resilient, adaptable, and confident puppies. We also follow the Puppy Culture program, introducing age-appropriate challenges and new experiences that build problem-solving skills, curiosity, and trust in humans.

We place a strong emphasis on early socialization and training. By the time they go to their new homes, our puppies are already familiar with crate training, potty training foundations, and basic manners. They’ve experienced car rides, grooming, vet visits, and plenty of handling—giving them the confidence and adaptability to transition smoothly into their forever families.

Life at Southern Tribute Farms also means plenty of time outdoors. Our puppies are gradually introduced to new environments, farm animals, and a wide range of sights and sounds. This exposure helps them develop into steady, well-rounded dogs who can remain calm and confident no matter what life throws their way.

Most importantly, our puppies are raised with daily hands-on care and genuine love. They are part of our family until the day they join yours. When they leave us, they don’t just go home as “puppies”—they leave prepared, well-socialized, and ready to thrive in whatever role their future holds.
